Canvas “Balloon”

This canvas balloon demonstrates some of the beautiful colors available for industrial projects. This custom industrial canvas creation is used to liven up a large interior space in a shopping mall. It was built with an aluminum frame and covered with bright canvas to give it the look of a hot air balloon. Of course, this one operates by cables and is just for show.

This industrial project required the cutting and sewing of fabric in careful patterns, as most projects do. Additionally, it called on our expertise with framing, in a similar way as is required with awnings and some boat covers. Whether indoor or outdoor, canvas can add eye-catching color where it is needed.

Canvas Storage Orig

Storage Containers

Fabric containers offer flexibility and efficiency for a broad range of dry and semi-moist, flowable materials – including certain types of hazardous waste. Extremely strong and durable container bags can be made from new materials, yet they continue to be a cost-effective alternative to fixed containers such as plastic or metal.

In some cases a container bag is an excellent solution. For instance, the Fluid Bag shown in this picture offers great strength while minimizing the chances of spillage. It was developed as a method to transport liquids that would be contaminated during contact with air during filling and discharging.

Temporary Storage

Here’s an interesting project from Hawaii. Storage boxes are being introduced as a way to keep records, household goods and other items when a mini-storage space just isn’t the right thing. Wooden boxes, 8’X 5’X 6.5′, are rented to someone for additional storage space. The contents are placed inside and the box locked. A truck then comes to pick up the container and place it in a secure warehouse. Upon request, the box is redelivered so contents can be removed or exchanged.

These special boxes are protected from the elements when they are in storage, but canvas was the product of choice to protect them while in transit. One customer ordered 200 canvas covers for a fleet of 2,000 boxes. What an efficient, cost effective method to improve security!

Mobility Orig (1)

Mobility

The flexible container bag can create more efficient transport, reducing manpower and work time. Containers can be designed for strength and durability. These characteristics are vital to safe transportation of materials. This results in an excellent container for storage while the goods are not in transit.

If you have a product that needs to be shipped anywhere in the world, a fabric container should be considered. Many ports are set up to handle them and we can help you with the design work. Custom colors, logo and other imprints can also help your business while your product is on the move.
